Abstract:
Abstract:
This presentation will start with what constitutes an auto lubrication system and the purpose. Also what are the benefits of auto lubrication systems, especially with regards to worker safety. Then Atique will discuss the various types of auto lubrication system and main components. Following that will be a more in depth discussion on the following systems; single line series progressive systems, single line parallel systems, and dual line systems. Other benefits can include more efficient lubrication because you can lubricate while the machine is running, you can apply in small carefully controlled amounts more frequently, and there can be better housekeeping with less chance of spillage and leakage. In addition, there can be longer machine life, and bearings are continuously replenished grease with less downtime. This reduces maintenance costs and bearing replacement. There will be time for questions and answers. This topic is important to attend because it has been repeatedly reported that one of leading causes of bearing failures is because of the lubrication.
